ONCAP acquired a majority stake in Ontivity (f.k.a. Enertech Holdings) in November 2019.
Based in New Braunfels, Texas, Ontivity is a Tier 1 provider of wireless infrastructure services to the telecommunication industry, including technology upgrades, network densification, structural modifications and repairs and maintenance. Ontivity serves telecommunication carriers and tower owners throughout the Southern, Central and Pacific Northwest regions of the U.S. The Company operates five divisions which cover separate geographic regions and goes to market under five highly reputable and distinct local brands: Enertech Resources, ET Tower, Legacy Telecom, CMS Wireless and Mountain Wireless.
ONCAP was attracted to Ontivity due to its: (i) leading market position in a high growth, recession-resistant industry; (ii) reputation for superior service quality and safety; (iii) long-term relationships with the largest wireless carriers and tower operators in the U.S.; (iv) strong cash flow characteristics; (v) increasing demand for data consumption and the rollout of 5G technology; and (vi) consolidation opportunity given fragmented nature of the industry.
