It offers website, retention, and digital advertising solutions to over 2,000 franchise auto dealerships across 20+ OEM brands via its proprietary Apollo Customer Experience Platform. DDH also operates Foundation Direct, a white-glove digital advertising agency, and OfferLogix, a fintech platform powering payment calculations for major auto dealer technology companies.
Investment Thesis
ONCAP was attracted to DDH due to its: (i) market-leading position and industry-leading market share growth; (ii) multiple organic growth levers to pull; (iii) extensive set of difficult-to-obtain OEM vendor certifications; (iv) high-margin, high free cash flow business model with significant operating leverage; (v) recurring revenue base from subscription contracts that are resilient through automotive cycles; and (vi) entrepreneurial management team with a proven track record of founding and scaling multiple successful AutoTech companies.
