ONCAP acquired a majority interest in Bradshaw Home (“Bradshaw”) in December 2012.
Based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, Bradshaw is a leading designer, marketer, distributor and category manager of everyday houseware products, selling over 7,000 SKUs across four product categories: Kitchen Tools & Gadgets, Metal Bakeware & Cookware, Food Storage and Home Cleaning Products. The company’s products are sold to supermarkets, mass merchants, specialty retailers, value retailers and other retailers under owned brands (Good Cook, Touch, Casabella and Evercare), licensed brands (Mr. Clean, Clorox, Bialetti, T-Fal, Dawn and Gain) and private label brands.
Accomplishment and Outcome
ONCAP was attracted to many of Bradshaw’s attributes such as its leading market position, compelling service-based differentiation and value proposition, strong and committed management team, long-term track record of growth with significant opportunities for continued growth, and attractive cash flow characteristics. ONCAP, in partnership with the Bradshaw management team, was able to create value at the company by using its strong customer relationships, services and processes to launch new products and brands, to further penetrate new and existing channels and customers, to enhance the company’s operational capabilities, and to take advantage of consolidation and business partnership opportunities within Bradshaw’s various market segments.
In October 2021, ONCAP completed the sale of Bradshaw to Arbor Investments.
